Ghonada the ultimate hero of Bengali literature is finally here on internet at last. There is a community dedicated for Ghonada on orkut website. Ghonada is an immortal creation of late bengali novelist Mr Premendra Mitra. Like many other classic case creation has exceeded the popularity of creator here. Premendra mitra great novelist of all time modern bengali literature has written several Ghonada stories.
Ghonada stories are based on the backdrop of an extended timeframe starting from Late 40's cruising through rocking sixties and sizzling seventies. Ghonada, star attraction of a bengali adda, mostly joined by Shishir, Shibu, Gour and Sudhir [the writer himself or the I character in Ghonada stories] after office hours in the old mess of 72 Bonomali Noskar Lane where he lives and the gossip consists of reminiscences his great deeds against deadliest and dengerous evils of human kind solving brain dribbling puzzles, saving human race from extinction and his brilliant display of courage.
